Expertise and Credentials
Mr. Fayed is a fully established, Australian-trained minimally invasive general surgeon and fully qualified robotic surgeon, bringing over two decades of experience as a medical practitioner. He graduated from medical school with honours and embarked on a fulfilling career that has spanned across major institutions, including The Austin, Eastern Health, The Northern, St Vincent’s, and The Royal Melbourne Hospitals. These experiences have enriched his understanding of complex medical conditions and sharpened his advanced technical skills—particularly in robotic and laparoscopic surgery—allowing him to deliver precise, high-quality surgical care using the most advanced techniques available.
Mr. Fayed is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He’s also a member of GSA (General Surgeons Australia), ANZAST (Australia and NZ Association for Surgery of Trauma) and GESA (Gastroenterological Society of Australia).
International Training
Mr. Fayed also extended his training beyond Australian borders. He gained valuable insights and expertise through experiences in prominent centres across Europe, including Sweden, Holland, and Austria. This international exposure has broadened his perspective and enriched his skill set, ensuring that his patients receive world-class care.
